Tough as Nails Season 1: Episodes 5-6 Blog

I put off an Episode 5 blog post until it was late enough that I concluded that I’d be best off just doing a two-for-one deal, and honestly I’m not upset about it. Episode 5 was a fairly unimpactful episode as regards these blog posts; might as well combine it with an episode that indicated a bit more.

As I write this blog post, episode 5 has actually already aired! :o But I haven’t seen it or heard anything about it yet, so I figure I’m okay to write this anyway. It’s not like I think anybody except my wife is actually reading these posts in real-time with the show’s airing…

On the whole, I feel like I’m enjoying this show more each week. It’s still definitely no TAR-level classic, but it’s a thoroughly enjoyable decent show in its own right. It really is a lot like a slightly more competitive parallel to the Great British Bake Off.
